Wild Turkey Bourbon ‘Decoy’

Here’s one of my very first ads, created while at Young & Rubicam Adelaide, it ran for over fifteen years during the Cricket and other big sporting occasions because it always cracked up the pub and spiked orders for Wild Turkey. Years later while working with Campari at TBWA on another Bourbon Russell’s Reserve, I was delighted to hear from their team that they still talk about ‘Decoy’ as legendary.
Fun fact, we bought the footage off a Southern American Turkey shooting video and it became the inspiration for our ad - stroke of luck.
